Through the Fire Rocky Mountain K9 Unit Katie Ruggle Books

With an over the top villain "Princess Firebug" more efficient than any Katie Ruggle has ever written it is another hilariously funny wild ride for the tiny town of Monroe. After reading all the one and two star reviews by people who hadn't read the first 3 books in this series I was concerned but was laughing out loud when I started reading the story. It is most certainly NOT a stand-alone and the publisher should make it a box set ASAP as unlike her other series this one needs to be read with the others as a result of the outstanding character development and intricate plotting that make this series so enjoyable. You will definitely miss the best jokes if you haven't read the other books. I am really looking forward to the next series!

Through the Fire Rocky Mountain K9 Unit Katie Ruggle Books Reviews

Oh my gosh, lol! I love Katie’s books. The heroine is straight shooting and smart, the hero endearingly kooky yet still sexy and the romance is sweet yet hot. All wrapped up in a mystery (kind of) to end the series. What’s not to like?
I love this series and everything this author writes. Wes and Kit had great chemistry and it was good to see old friends. My only complaint is that the book ended way too soon. I need to know what happens next with these two.
Another great story full of mystery and suspense. The romance had a slow smoldering burn until flames erupted. Answers are found from this series as characters are interwoven. The story depth and complexity grabs you for a ride you will not forget. Katie Ruggle is a phenomenal story weaver. Loved this series and this finale crowns it.
Loved this book! Kit and Wes are perfect together. A lot of action, although not so much destruction this time around. It that's ok, because everything wrapped up beautifully. My only real complaint is the excessive sneak peak at the end of the book. It's just too long and not necessary. Sneak peaks are supposed to be short and sweet, not a quarter of a book.
I love this series of books, and I hate to see it end. Loved Kit and Wes, and it was refreshing to see the role reversal in Kit being the K9 officer. As usual the plot was fast paced, good romance, and had all of the other characters from the previous books. The only thing or complaint I have is on the ending. I don't want to give anything away, but since this has all been about K9 cops and dogs, why weren't all the dogs involved? They were all there in the cars and not in the house? I would have loved for this series to end with the dogs we came to love being part of the big "take down"!
First why is the cover a guy with the blood hound dog? When Officer Kit Jernigan is a female and the actual owner of the Justice (bloodhound). Yes so he helped save towards the end cool but Kit was more deserving of the cover. Then there's the matter of Wes the love interest. His introverted personality was a little on the overkill side to point that up thought he was a virgin with a teenage crush. Then the criminal fooled three cops so much they didn't believe
Kit and Wes are the romantic focus in this wrap-up book for the series. Kit is a strong female K-9 cop and her first day in Monroe is a hot start with arson and murder. Wes is a reclusive fire watcher for the forest service and "meets" Kit her first day in Monroe as he helps with her move-in trailer. And the book is off to a fine start with Kit suspicious of a new woman in town and her colleagues ignoring her suspicions. Tracker bloodhounds, characters from previous books, murder, fires and a charming romance moved the plot along nicely. Just enough suspense, just enough sizzle and lots of fun dialogue kept me well satisfied through to the end.
